Mexico’s energy reform eliminates a restrictive legal framework that has limited private investment and participation in the country’s energy industry for more than 75 years. The following reports explain the nature of transformation with regard to Mexico’s oil, electricity, and natural gas sectors. The studies also forecast political and economic hurdles that Mexico must overcome to fully realize its ambitious energy overhaul.

La reforma de la energía en Mexico elimina una restrictiva estructura legal que ha limitado la inversión privada y la participación en la industria energética del país por mas de 75 años. Los siguientes reportes explican la forma de transformación con respeto a los sectores de petróleo, energía eléctrica, y gas natural. Los estudios también pronostican los retos políticos e económicos que Mexico tienen que superar en orden de realizar completamente su ambiciosa revisión de su industria energética.
